Burgundy Pasture Beef is a cuisine-quality beef raised in the rich
traditions of past generations. Rather than use the more common
industrial production model, the cattle are pastured on native and
select cultivated grasses their whole lives where they are handpicked
at just the right time for superb marbling and then dry-aged for
optimal flavor and tenderness. There are no processed feeds, feedlots,
growth hormones or antibiotics - all sources of growing concern
in American beef.
Houston Dairymaids is a new venture by two seasoned cheese professionals,
Kendra Scott and Lindsey Schechter. Part business and part exploration,
our goal is to meet artisan cheesemakers, learn about their craft,
and bring the best of their products to Houston. Through the farmer's
market, cheese tastings, and other cheese-focused events, we hope
to share our experiences while expanding the offerings of specialty
foods to our community

Whole Foods
Market® is now the world's leading retailer of natural and
organic foods... highly selective about what we sell, dedicated
to stringent Quality Standards, and committed to sustainable agriculture.
We believe in a virtuous circle entwining the food chain, human
beings and Mother Earth: each is reliant upon the others through
a beautiful and delicate symbiosis. We obtain our products locally
and from all over the world, often from small, uniquely dedicated
food artisans. We strive to offer the highest quality, least processed,
most flavorful and naturally preserved foods. Why? Because food
in its purest state — unadulterated by artificial additives,
sweeteners, colorings and preservatives — is the best tasting
and most nutritious food available.

Since opening
, Lola has been on an upward trajectory that critics extol and
many restaurateurs aspire to but few attain. Hard to believe that
the near-perfection that is Lola can be advanced. But, indeed,
the Tasting Room represents an evolutionary achievement.
FIVE STARS: Lola
the Restaurant has been climbing toward top status since opening.
